Download the Audio Timeliner

Windows

Download the following file, unzip it, and run the .exe file inside to install the software.     Version 3.1: AudioTimelinerSetup3.1_PC.zip (60 Mb)     NOTE: You may get a warning that the app is unrecognized / unsafe. You can safely disregard this.     (Windows 10-11 users should click on "More Info" - "Run anyway")

Mac

Download the the following file, upzip it, and double-click on the .dmg file inside to launch the installer. Drag the application into your Applications folder.     Version 3.1: AudioTimelinerSetup3.1_MAC.zip (51 Mb)     [right-click and choose "Save Link as" if a regular click does not work in your browser]

IMPORTANT: After installing and attempting to open the app, you will likely see a warning telling you the app is damaged. It is not! To resolve this issue, open System Settings, click on "Privacy & Security," scroll down, and click "Open Anyway" next to Audio Timeliner. (See support.apple.com/en-us/102445 for more information.)

Annother approach is to open Terminal (in Applications/Utilities) and enter the following line of code:

    sudo xattr -cr "/Applications/Audio Timeliner.app" 

You will need to enter your password and press Return. After this, Audio Timeliner should run normally. (You may need to CTRL-click on Audio Timeliner to launch it the first time.)

Please note that WAV files are recommended on Macs, since some mp3 files do not work correctly.
